All the assessments for classes I – IX will be internal, based on the latest CBSE circulars. Though Board exams will be compulsory for class- X, 20% of the total marks in each subject will be for the internal assessment.
The new scheme (CBSE circular no. Acad - 14/2017 dated 21-3-2017) will have two terms, ending with two major exams. The second terminal exam will cover important topics from the first term too. The details of the assessment are as follows :-
PRE-PRIMARY
The Assessment structure and Examination for Classes L.K.G. and U.K.G. comprises of three exams:
A. Quarterly Exams
B. Half-yearly Exams
C. Annual Exams

N.B: Rules of evaluation will change from time to time as per CBSE circulars and rules in force for that academic year.
CLASSES IX-X
The Assessment structure and Examination for Classes IX-X will be as follows.
I. Internal Assessment is for 20 marks.Includes:
a. Periodic Tests.(Pre-Mid Term,Mid Term & Post-Mid Term)
b. Note Book Submission.
c. Subject Enrichment Activities.(ASL., Reading. Dictation, Debate,Public Speaking etc. for language, Lab-Activities, Projects. Map Work, Model Making, Field Trips etc. for other subjects)
d. Multiple assessments.
II. Annual Examination: It will be conducted covering 100% portion at the end of the year and studemts need to secure minimum 27 marks (33%) out of 80 in each subjects.
CLASSES XI
To pass the exam, a candidate must obtain not less than 33% marks in both theory and practical examination in each subject. If any student is found using unfair means in any of the exams, that particular paper will be cancelled and zero marks will be awarded.

PROMOTION
1. It is compulsory for all the students to appear in all the examination in order to get promotion to the next class. 2. Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year’s performance of a student. Hence it is important to work regularly, to have regular attendance and to get good results in examinations conducted.
